Refurbished laptop from a discount store not online under $500?

I need a refurbished laptop for under $500 it cannot be online and the store must be around Sacramento Ca

Wow, you are not leaving much here… I know CA (as well as the state of WA – I have a few friends out there) marks up “refurbished” laptops by almost $200 – most buy their laptop on line or from refurb centers, get them in, mark them up and then resell them locally. It is kind of crazy.
My suggestion would be buy on ebay, but check out the sellers feedback and history to ensure you are finding a reputable seller. I have used this company in the past:

for several items and have never been let down. Their items are described in detail and I have found them to be totally honest.
I got an email the other day saying that on Friday they will have some Dell Latitudes, some iMacs and Powerbooks – which all have a warranty on them – coming to auction.
To give you an idea, I picked up a powerbook G4 laptop back in May for around $500 and back in Oct I purchased a Dell Latitude D600 for $325
They are awesome deals and honest folks.
